Percussion Lessons for Beginners
and Advanced
Percussion instruments, with their specific sound, often have an amazing
ability to give an impression of the complete groove - they seem to
be mysteriously connected to the certain rhythm (for example clave and
guiero).
In the percussion lessons we teach about the instrument itself, its
tuning, its sound and important playing techniques.
More than that, we also teach the history and the origin of the instrument
and its function in certain rhythms.
Finally, we explore the following rhythmic styles:
 african
brasilian
south & middle
american
cuban etc.
It is also interesting which role these instruments have in Rock,
Pop and R & B grooves. There are no limits in exploring and learning.
